Who we are
This site and the Topicweave beta are run by Topicweave (“we”). Questions about privacy go to hello@topicweave.com. Our mailing address is Topicweave, 2139 N University Dr #2329, Coral Springs, FL 33071, United States.
What this site collects
If you join the beta list: your name, email, website, what your site runs on, the package you asked about (if any) and anything you write in the message. We use it to look at your site, write to you about the beta and plan your install.
If you suggest a feature: your idea, and your email if you add one. We use the email only to reply about that idea.
If you run a free site check: the website, your email and role, the time, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address that we use only to limit how many checks one place can run. We send the report link to that email and won’t email you again unless you join the beta. We never contact the business whose site was checked. What the checker reads from that site’s public pages is described on our crawler page.
When you open a private link we sent you (a site-check report, or a proposal): the page notes when it was opened, the rough location your IP address points to (city and country), the kind of device and browser, which parts you looked at and for how long, and a random ID kept in your browser so a second visit counts as the same person. We use it only to know the link arrived and when to follow up.
Nothing else about you. The site’s public pages have no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies. We don’t sell what you send us or share it for advertising.
What’s stored on your device
- Your theme (light or dark), in your browser’s local storage, so the site opens the way you left it.
- Small notes for page changes (where you clicked, whether the opening has played), in session storage. They disappear when you close the tab.
- That you’ve seen the cookie notice, so it doesn’t come back.
- Whether you hid the film tile, in session storage, so it stays hidden until you close the tab.
- On private report and proposal links only: a random ID, in local storage, so a repeat visit counts once.
Only that random ID is ever sent to us, with the visit note on a private link; the rest never leave your device. None of them identify you by name.
The services we use
A few companies handle data for us, only to run this site and the beta, under their own security and privacy terms:
- Vercel hosts the site. Like any host, it sees your IP address and the pages you request, and keeps short-lived server logs for security and reliability.
- Supabase stores the beta list, feature ideas, site checks and visit notes in a private database.
- Resend delivers the emails: the copy of your sign-up that reaches us, your confirmation, your site-check report link, and our reply to you.
- Anthropic (Claude) helps a site check suggest which specialties deserve their own page. It gets only page titles and phrases from the checked site’s public pages, never your email or IP address, and its terms don’t let it train on what we send.
- Cloudflare plays the beta film when you open it. Like any video host, it sees your IP address while it streams; it sets no cookies.
These services may store and process data in the United States or other countries. Where the law requires it, they do so under safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
If you become a client
The Topicweave app works with data you connect: your CMS, your Search Console, your Voice Kit recordings, their transcripts, your voice profile and the drafts written from them. Writing and transcription use AI providers (such as Anthropic) that process the text for us under terms that don’t let them train on it. How that data is handled is set out in your client agreement, and you can export or delete it at any time.
How long we keep it
The beta list and feature ideas: until the beta ends, then deleted, or sooner if you ask. Site checks: the pages we read are deleted after 30 days, when the report link stops working; your request (site, email, role) and the findings are kept until the beta ends, so a later check can show what changed, or deleted sooner if you ask. Visit notes on private links: until the beta ends. Client data: for as long as you’re a client, then deleted within 30 days unless you ask us to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Write to hello@topicweave.com and we’ll answer within 30 days. If you’re in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority. If you’re in California you have the rights the CCPA gives you; we don’t sell or share personal information.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn’t meant for anyone under 16. We don’t knowingly collect their information; if you think we have, tell us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If this changes, the new version goes here with a new date. If a change affects people on the beta list or clients, we’ll tell them directly.
